From the Ranks tab, tap the add-friend button. You can scan their QR code in person, or share your 6-character friend code so they can enter it remotely.
Your dex is built from birds actually found in your region — common ones show right away, rarer ones appear as locked silhouettes until you catch one. Traveling to a new area unlocks that region's dex too.
Email us the species and a screenshot if you can. Bird ID isn't perfect on tricky look-alikes, and reports like this directly help us improve it.
